During seasons where there is potential for higher footfall, Chester BID work on pulling together seasonal campaigns highlighting the city as a destination to spend time and spend. Ranging from window display competitions, gift guides, and campaign videos.
During key dates such as school holidays you will see trails happening in the city centre. Sparking new customer footfall through city centre businesses and an increase in dwell time for the city. Our popular trails include the likes of our Halloween Trail, Easter Trail and Mini Mural Trail.
The Chester Gift Card was created in order to lock money in to our high street and encourage shoppers to spend locally. This is a key tool for BID Members and as of 2023 it has pumped over £100K back into the local economy.
