Statement from CW&C Re Information Event 25th March

In view of the government’s announcements regarding Coronavirus, we have taken the decision to cancel our drop-in Northgate Project information event on 25th March at Chester Town Hall.

Please see the newsletter which covers the latest news on the project and the highways works while we build the new drainage tunnel for the city centre.

We will hold another information event once safe to do so, in the meantime we will post updates on our website and via the media.

Thank you for your interest in the Northgate project.

Statutory Utility Works on Princess Street

Now that the works on Hunter Street are nearing completion, access will soon reopen followed by temporary closure of access to the top part of Princess Street into mid-April whilst further works on utility diversions such as gas, electric, BT and new drainage works are carried out.

As before, traffic management will be in place, vehicles will access Hunter Street to travel to properties and businesses at the lower end of Hunter Street. Those wishing to access St Martins Way will do so via Hunter Street then across the old bus station site and then onto Princess Street. The footpath for pedestrians will remain open on the Town Hall side.

We apologise for any disruption this may cause. If you have any concerns, or would like to discuss further, then please contact me directly.
