Poppy Fields by Luxmuralis

Chester Cathedral is delighted to welcome Luxmuralis back to the Cathedral in 2025 with a brand-new show for Chester - Poppy Fields.

Poppy Fields will be a poignant and moving sound and light show that will take you on an immersive journey through fine art sound and light installations which transform the Cathedral spaces creating a walking curated experience.

Poppy Fields will utilise a brand-new route around the Cathedral, with a reduced number of people entering per session via the south west porch.

The 2025 show incorporates a collection of fine art projection artworks that reflect on the end of World War One and World War Two, but more importantly look at the hopes and wishes for peace in our world and the future.
