ABSTRACT PAINTING LECTURE & IMMERSIVE WORKSHOP

This workshop will be based in the Chester Visual Arts exhibition space, with full and private access to ReMark.

It will include a lecture by social art historian and curator, Juliet Cook, concentrating on the origins of the Abstract Expressionist period and how that has influenced the works exhibited in ReMark.

That will be followed by an interactive workshop led by Julie Saul and Julie Mayer, two of the artists from ReMark.

They will take you through their methods, allowing you to make marks, paint and express yourself and by the end of the day, take a work home created by yourself!

Tea, coffee, water will be provided.
