A GINGERBREAD FILLED CHRISTMAS AT GROSVENOR SHOPPING CENTRE

The Grosvenor Shopping Centre in Chester is set to host a range of festive activities for both kids and adults to enjoy over the Christmas period.

As well as welcoming a giant gingerbread house display for shoppers to feast their eyes upon, the centre will host a number of FREE kids workshops on selected weekends on the lead up to the big day.

From gingerbread biscuit decorating to an art station, kids can get creative at the centre’s workshop space in St Michael’s Square by Costa Coffee.

What’s more, on Saturday 14th December, The Mini Makery will be in the centre helping children decorate Christmas Cards and tree decorations for a small price where a percentage of the money will go towards the centre’s charity of the year, The Hospice Of The Good Shepherd.

During both weekdays and weekends, little ones will be able to listen to the centre’s animatronic santa tell stories and take part in a gingerbread themed hunt for the chance to win from a selection of prizes.

Centre Manager at The Grosvenor Shopping Centre, Julie Webb commented: “We are looking forward to welcoming shoppers and their children to the centre for our gingerbread event.

“It is great to be able to offer activities to keep little ones occupied over the festive period.”

Selected stores will also be opening late every Thursday during the run up to Christmas, starting Thursday 21st November.
